Much delayed baby announcement!

Our baby boy arrived August 13, 2011! Sorry for the delay in posting - he was 12 days late (!!) and then we've been contending earthquakes and hurricanes on the East Coast! But we have arrived safely home. When I can catch a breath I will post more about the experience. I feel wonderful and relieved and thankful. This infertility journey has completed with two beautiful kids. Though this seems like a big end, really it's just the beginning.

Whatever art form it takes—photo, video, graphic or craft—some predicaments in life need more than words to express the truth. IVF is not just a medical treatment, it is a way of life. Now surrogacy is my road. I intend to be a parent, however it works. This blog is my commitment to writing and visually creating what I mean by this. There may be an art to getting pregnant but there is equally an art to being infertile.

IVF#1 - BFP - but ectopic

IVF#6 w/GC and DE - BFP!!!
Baby Girl Born February 2010!
Frozen Cycle w/GC Nov 2010- BFP!
Sibling Due date- July 31, 2011
Diagnosed with blood clotting disorders- elevated levels of
lupus anti coagulant, anti phosphatydylserine, and mthfr (one copy). Who the hell knows what's wrong, no one can really figure this out.

I figured you were joyously busy! Glad you are all home! We are on the East coast too. Holy Hannah, our basement STINKS!
Please if possible post on what it is like for your older child. We are expecting in March and if all goes well, will have a newborn and a two year old.
